I’m thrilled to share that submissions are now officially open for this year’s MCC Zines anthology: Golden Apples and Poisoned Chalices! Whether you’re a longtime zine creator or brand new to the scene, I’d absolutely love to see what you’ve got.
This year’s theme is a femme-focused dive into mythological fantasy, exploring how women and feminine figures are portrayed in myths, legends, and folklore. We’re looking for short comics, illustrations, and short stories that unpack the duality of these characters — the sacred and the dangerous, the divine and the monstrous.
