MCC Zines

MCC Zines launched in 2020, with the first anthology, ;Constellations in Flux’, crowdfunded on Kickstarter. I have been in the zine circles since around 2016, but it took a mountain of rejection emails and a couple of fanzine mod experiences to make me realize I could, feasibly, combine my skills and knowledge of self-publishing to make my own collaborative zines. By the second anthology, I had the brand formed, and by the third, quarterly digital quick zines started.

There is something magical about holding the physical copy of a book or magazine that contains your work, and it has been a joy to share that experience with my fellow creatives while crafting beautiful zine anthologies.

A femme-focused mythological fantasy collaborative anthology exploring how feminine figures are portrayed in myths, legends, and folklore through art, comics, and prose/poetry.

Ephemeral Moments: A Zine of Fleeting Beauty (2025)

A collaborative zine showcasing poetry, prose, art, and comics celebrating the beauty found in fleeting moments. I contributed the cover art, a poem, and put the zine layout together.

Re-spun Threads: A Comic Anthology of Reimagined Fairy Tales (2024)

Re-spun threads is a comic anthology of collected fairy tale and folklores retold with a re-imagined cultural element. it is produced as a limited run printed zine, and I contributed the cover art and put the zine layout together.

Constellations in Flux: A Romance Anthology (2023)

Constellations in Flux is a collection of art and stories around the theme of celestial romance. produced as a limited run printed zine, It is my first endeavor running a zine project and I contributed a short story, the cover art, and put the zine layout together.

The theme is wlw chivalry. Bring on princess archetypes, knights in shining armor, and damsels swooning for their femme-saviours.

Holiday & Horns (Winter 2025)

The theme is holiday/winter themed zine featuring horned creatures with a pin-up flair.

Infinite and Infinitesimal (Fall 2025)

The theme is the world from a microscopic view- whether crafting a fantasy macrocosm or taking inspiration from in the depths of nature, everything is from the perspective of the tiniest of protagonists.

Mermaid Dreams (Spring 2025)

The theme is anything nautical or related to the beach, and of course, mer-people!
